Hair Tips & Tricks
Tip #1
For extremely thick hair: After a deep treatment give hair a normal blow dry. Once hair is fully dry, use a quarter size amount of botanical oil by Designs and gently stroke through your hair. Use a paddle brush and put your dryer on high heat, blow dry each section of hair from root to end and watch the hair emulsify to the oil which give you a less thicker puff hair.
Tip #2
For weave: For a faster way to freshen up your weave like the first time, wet the the middle shaft of the weave to the end of the weave. (If you want to use shampoo, consult with your stylist based on the type of weave you have for shampoo type etc.) Then blow dry and proceed with styling the weave.
Tip #3
If you wear wigs more occasions than none keep your hair braided underneath at all time more than like you will suffer from massive breakage as you comb through the hair. Shampoo your hair at least once a week and give it a deep conditioning, rinse, blow dry and braid your hair down. this way the hair will be kept protected and less breakage. split your ends at least every 4-6 weeks to get rid of those nasty split ends.
TRICKS FOR THOSE BAD HAIR MOMENTS..
Comb & smooth out as much of your hair that you can, do a braid tail (over braid or fish tail) to the side or straight back. or shred some pieces of your hair around the sides to give it the messy Hollywood look and throw on a fashion hat if you like, use Design Essentials Edge tamer if needed.
Michelle Vincent is a celebrity hair stylist of Hollywood and here are Five Tips from Michelle on how to take care of your
Black Hair.
Black Hair Tip #1 from the celebrity stylist:
Do not use low quality products for your hair as they have sulfates. It does not matter whether you wear weaves or get yourself a perm, in between the visits to salon, you need to keep your hair nourished.
Black Hair Tip #2 from the celebrity stylist:
Go for products that are natural like Keracare Hair products or organic shampoos of Aubrey or Jason’s at a natural store or Beauty4Ashes.
Black Hair Tip #3 from the celebrity stylist:
Care for your hair by rolling or wrapping your hair when sleeping. To avoid split ends, you need to
sleep only with a protective cover over your hair.
Black Hair Tip #4 from the celebrity stylist:
Avoid junk food and have lot of water. Include B complex every day.
Black Hair Tip #5 from the celebrity stylist:
Use pillow cases in silk and wraps for hair. Your hair might break with cotton.
